Bachelor of Arts (B.A) – 3 Years

The B.A. (General) program is a three-year undergraduate degree offered under the 10+2+3 education system. Students who have passed the 10+2 examination from any recognized Board/University with English as one of the subjects are eligible for admission to the 1st year of the B.A. program.

Students who have not studied English at the 10+2 level may be admitted provisionally, but must clear the subject from their parent Board/University within two consecutive attempts. Failure to do so will lead to cancellation of admission and examination results.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) – 3 Years

The B.Com (General & Honours) program is a three-year undergraduate degree offered under the 10+2+3 education system. Admission to B.Com 1st Year is open to students who have completed any of the qualifying examinations recognised by a valid Board/University.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students who have passed 10+2 (Commerce Stream) with 40% marks in aggregate.
  • Students from any stream in 10+2 who have studied one or more of the following subjects:
    Commerce, Accounts, Economics, Mathematics, Business Organisation & Management, Book-Keeping, Accountancy, Insurance, Banking & Trade, Commercial Geography, Office Management & Secretarial Practice, Mercantile Law, Auditing, Typewriting, Stenography/Computers.
  • Candidates who have passed +2 Examination or B.A. Part-I (Old Scheme) of Punjab University with at least two of the above subjects and a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
  • Candidates with +2 / B.A. Part-I / B.Sc Part-I / Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical (Old Scheme) of Punjab University securing 50% marks or more.
  • Any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University with the required percentage.
